A gift for my husband, his World of Warcraft Druid in repose.

Why is she so unclad?

In the real world, druids worship "Sky Clad" pretty often...

Nah, it's just because I assumed he'd prefer it this way.;)

I tried a new painting style, how do you think it came off?

Edit: This is going to stand in my challenge (on my journal) as "5. Seeking Solace"

I think this is beautiful! I really like the luminescence captured.... it makes her look very powerful being glowy! ;) The border is pretty kew and your watermark is awesome (being completely unobtrusive, but still doing its job <yeah I know you probably didn't want a comment on that but I decided to anyway :P>.... The only thing I would look at again is the back foot... There is one long piece of grass sticking up right where the line of the tree is.... at first glance it makes it look like you can see the tree through the foot..... but that is a very SMALL line ;)

So!! YEAH! awesome work! I can't wait until you get more time to work for your own pieces again... I miss seeing them every once in a while.... (and yea I completely understand why you haven't... just encouraging more)

Love ya!

Wow, that's interesting, and something I didn't notice.

I don't really think it deters from the piece enough to correct. I mean, it's green, whereas the tree is brown...:)

I try to keep those watermarks down. I almost didn't use one. But ..you know how people can get. Interesting fact you do bring it up though, that's the font I created. :aww:

I like the dream-like quality. Though, it's a bit larger than I would prefer for average viewing. If I do resize, might redo that little piece of grass.

I'm glad you like seeing it, I miss doing it.:) It was nice to have a chance just to take a crack at it and just go for it.

i think it really works. :D experimenting is good too! i love the paleness of her skin and the pose. :D good job!!!

It's a beautiful drawings. Nudes are always a great way to show the body's beauty.

Thank you! I had to change the tone of her skin starting out because I forgot what color she actually was. I tend to imagine Night Elves as purple most times, and she's the lighter blue tone. It was kinda funny really.

That was *such* a simple sketch, that's what amazes me about having used it. Very very little detailing on her and yet she came out this lovely!
:iconsilversaff:
It's amazing how some people are scared to do nudes, or how they end up being more pornographic rather than artistic...

I do think the body is lovely, but I am picky about how it's done.

Thanks!

If I ever drew (or photographed) nudes, I would make them artistic. And I may make some of them sensual and/or erotic. But I will NEVER create anything pornographic.
