These lovely girls are inspired by the great Varga's art (that which graced airplanes), as well as old movie monsters. I wanted to try at some pin-ups, but wanted to go a different direction with it. Also, I wanted to do something themely for my very favorite holiday. Here stands the Shades.
A Stake In It: They all have a stake in the storyline. Some in more ways than others. The Brides of Dracula, of all three flavors and of course, the valiant slayer who will do battle with the Living Dead. She's testing the boundaries she could cross. They shouldn't gaze behind, or the fun might be spoiled. Doesn't that stamp just look leering? Dear Bela would've adored this harem of lady-leeches. No names for these dear vamps, though I would say the slayer is reminiscent of the Lady Slayer, Anna Valerious, in the 2004 Van Helsing starring Hugh Jackman. That was an accident.
There are lots of brushes I did not make in this Shades set: Look in these places to find them: [link] [link] [link] [link]
Nice... I love Bela Legosi.... hmmm is the hunter supposed to be about to stab the blonde? I would lol! This looks really good though. Four characters in one piece is a whole lot of work... and they all work together really nicely, it doesn't look choppy at all (which is the problem I have had in the past..)
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!

And yeah, she's about to stake her good! Go her! She just shouldn't look behind her. *lol*
I don't like how it came out much, other than that leering look of Bela's. That was just too good NOT to use.
